I'll say three names, and you tell me what they've got in common. Or don't, because if you do, you're going to be the creep talking back to the alt-weekly paper, and the dude next to you at New Fine Arts might get the wrong idea. Anyway, here are the names: Paul McCartney, Jimi Hendrix, Elton John. Yes, they're all legendary rock artists. But they've also all got art on display at the Gaylord Texan this weekend! Screw Grammys and MBEs, the real joy of being an international rock star is showing work in suburban hotels! The 98.7 KLUV Art Rock Show runs this Friday through Monday at the Gaylord Texan, 1501 Gaylord Trail in Grapevine. Exhibit hours are 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday and Monday. Admission's free. Visit KLUV.com.
