Jurassic Stampede

See some dinos in Cowtown

Walking along, you find a gigantic bone. Is it a dinosaur? A cow? Do you need to call 911? Learning how to tell is just one thing you can do at the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History "Dinosaur Round-up" through September 27. You can also make rubbings from fossils, learn how dinos fit together, take pictures of each other sitting in dino tracks and see dinosaur bones and fossils gathered within an hour's drive of Fort Worth, from the museum's extensive collection. Exhibit hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and 12 to 5 p.m. Sundays on the first floor of the museum's temporary quarters at the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame, 1720 Gendy St. in Fort Worth. Call 817-255-9300.
Mondays-Saturdays, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sundays, 12-5 p.m. Starts: June 12. Continues through Sept. 27, 2008
