Try spending Father's Day at the Nasher

Trying to figure out what to do for Father's Day is harder than putting socks on a rooster. I use that saying because it's one of the old man's faves, and you know, it's the least I could do. But, for real, people, if you're not giving him a tool/toy or steaks for grilling (don't give him a grill; his is seasoned perfectly already), you need to actually do something with him. Something involving Dad's favorite things, of which the Nasher Sculpture Center has all three: food, photos of his kids and people-watching/making fun of people. Yup, beginning at 11 a.m., Pops gets Wolfgang Puck brunch (as space permits), James French Photography pics in the garden and lots of opportunities to make fun of loved ones and strangers all while taking in some serious culture. The Arts District Chorale performance of Brahms is an added bonus. Admission is free on Father's Day. Visit NasherSculptureCenter.org.
Sun., June 15, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., 2008
