Victory Tavern hosts a brewery dinner

Oregon's Deschutes Brewery joins up with Victory Tavern, 3030 Olive St., Thursday for a four-course beer tasting dinner, with a special menu prepared by Victory Tavern chef Jim Oetting. Dishes include chicken skewers paired with an India pale ale, buffalo brochette paired with an amber ale and, oddly enough, a beer ice cream float. Dinner is $40 per person, and reservations can be made by calling 214-432-1900. Food is served at 7 p.m. For more information, visit victorytavern.com.
