Angry Dennis

Miller spits all over Bass Hall

You know he rants. You know he raves. And you know he has zero qualms about giving you an earful when it comes to his opinions. Dennis Miller, the acerbic comedian, writer and pundit, takes to the Bass Hall stage to expose, satirize and poke fun at politics and social issues. Virgin ears, take note: Miller is not for the easily offended. He's provocative and audacious--and isn't afraid of four-letter words. Miller started out as a stand-up comic and then honed his chops on Saturday Night Live as the anchor for "Weekend Update." He's written four best-selling books and has five Emmy Awards, and he's appeared in several motion pictures and television shows. He sent shock waves through the sports world in 2000 when he was picked to commentate on ABC's Monday Night Football. Now Miller hosts the nationally syndicated radio show, The Dennis Miller Show, where the opinions fly, smack the walls and land with a splat. Presidential candidates must be feeling the heat. And we're sure their aides have already begun work to straighten ruffled feathers. Let the cerebral fun continue. Dennis Miller performs live at Bass Hall in Fort Worth at 8 p.m. Saturday. Tickets are $41 to $71. Call 817-212-4280 or visit basshall.com.
