Forget Bigfoot, how about Purple Foot? At GrapeFest in Grapevine that is exactly what you will encounter. And actually, in the Grapestomp event there's an award for the best purple foot. Holy grapes, this thing is huge: wine tasting, a champagne terrace, a culinary pavilion, carnival rides, arts and crafts, and live music on six different stages! The newest attraction is the Bud Light Beer Garden where participants can sample premium--yeah, we think Bud Light is premium too--beers and learn special beer-making tactics. The live music is sure to titillate every ear with acts ranging from country singer Johnny Cooper to Petty Theft--a Tom Petty cover band--to the afro-wearing Le Freak. GrapeFest is held Thursday through Sunday. Admission is free on Thursday and Friday; Saturday and Sunday tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for seniors and children, kids ages 5 and younger receive free admission. There are also weekend and souvenir pass deals. For specific times and more info call 817-410-3185 or visit grapevinetexasusa.com/grapefest.
