If you find yourself running low on incense and craving a drum circle, head for the Moonlady Festival at the Bath House Cultural Center. There will be henna tattoos, jewelry, a yoga theater and a vegetarian café. There will also be a Songwriters Peace Picnic, a Peace Zone, a Peace Altar and a Drums for Peace Circle. Oh yeah, did I mention that this is being done in honor of the United Nations Holiday of International Peace? So peace of all kinds is the focus. They're also celebrating the 40th anniversary of 1968 so you might get to hear "Give Peace a Chance." If this isn't enough to entice you to come over, there will also be a seer and a metaphysical comedian. I don't know what a metaphysical comedian does, but I'm imagining it's funny. Moonlady Fest goes down from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday at the Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther Drive. Visit earthrhythms.org/presents/moonfest.html for more info.
