Screen. Cells. Framed.

In our world cartoons are just drawings. They don't make contract negotiations, murder people or turn us on. No fun. So if you're into that sort of thing but have yet to find the magical entrance to Toontown, I guess Hollywood is the next best place to turn for your animated kicks. Where else will you find a contract signed by execs from Disney and Warner Bros. demanding that their icons--Mickey Mouse and Bugs Bunny, respectively--get equal screen time and the same number of lines in their Who Framed Roger Rabbit cameos? (Seriously.) The 1988 classic blends live action with animation to tell a story of murder, deceit and ridiculousness, and is this week's must-see Inwood midnight movie. After all, where else will you see the world's most famous Ducks duel it out on piano and exchange questionable insults (I don't care what the closed captions say, I know what Donald called Daffy), the world's sexiest redhead seemingly betray her cartoon rabbit husband and guest appearances by pretty much every popular animated character ever? Find out who framed whom Friday and Saturday at Landmark's Inwood Theatre, 5458 W. Lovers Lane. Visit landmarktheatres.com.
