Oh Brother

Mark Grisham signs his book

For every successful celebrity out there, there is often a lesser-known, sometimes slightly less attractive sibling to be found waiting in the wings. Chad Lowe, Don Swayze, Chris Penn, Clint Howard, Eric Roberts, Roger Clinton--I could go on and on. Now, some 19 years after A Time to Kill introduced John Grisham to the literary world, his brother Mark attempts to follow in his footsteps with Bedlam South, a piece of historical fiction penned with lifelong friend and "biblical marriage" counselor David Donaldson. Set in the midst of the Civil War, the book begins and ends in an insane asylum, running through the requisite battle and romance scenes along the way. The duo signs Bedlam South 7 p.m. Monday at Borders, 10720 Preston Road (214-363-1977) or 7 p.m. Tuesday at another Borders, 965 W. Bethany Drive (214-383-9676) in Allen.
Tue., Oct. 14, 7 p.m., 2008
