Let me get this straight. Randy Jackson, not the Jackson brother but rather a guy who plays bass for the likes of Richard Marx, Michael Bolton and Blue Oyster Cult, is the authority on street dancing? And to help him choose the best of the pop-and-lock world, he chose J.C. Chasez, a former Mousekateer and 'N Sync member, as a judge? And the thing is hosted by Mario Lopez, who earned his street cred the hard way, by playing Slater on Saved by the Bell? Maybe next season he could have Regis Philbin as the host, with Justin Guarini, Erik Estrada and Kevin Bacon as judges. But maybe not, as the current format has elevated the dancing mimes of JabbaWockeeZ to the national spotlight. Never mind the nerdy Lewis Carroll reference; you know from the misspelling and new-school use of Z instead of S that these guys are hard. JabbaWockeeZ and BrakeSk8 will battle ASIID, Fanny Pak and Super Cr3w in America's Best Dance Crew Live at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Nokia Theatre, 1001 Performance Place in Grand Prairie. Tickets are $34.50 to $54.50. Visit ticketmaster.com.
