Nothing says "holiday season" like a bustling train stop. Fortunately, Dallas being the way it is, our train stops come complete with retail, dining and film opportunities. Mockingbird Station does, at least, and much like retailers everywhere, the station is getting in the holiday spirit. With a slew of activities through the week, you can Get Gifted at the Station (which also benefits the DFW Chapter of Toys for Tots). Deals and Discount Nights are offered every Wednesday (with other Get Gifted events each weekday), so take advantage of the bargains offered by retailers in the shopping station. In addition to rewarding yourself with much needed savings during this economic collapse of a holiday, you can reward your spirit: New, unwrapped toys can be delivered to the Angelika Film Center or Urban Taco for the toy drive.
