The Giving Time

Redistributionist-In-Chief-Elect Barack Obama will soon rescue us from the horrible poverty created by the evil Bush regime. But until January 20, 2009, we'll need charities like North Texas Food Bank. The Meadows School of the Arts, SMU-in-Legacy and Resounding Harmony choir will help restock the pantries at the NTFB through a "virtual food drive," (which might more accurately be called "online monetary donations") at vad.aidmatrix.org/vadxml.cfm?driveid=2964, and a traditional canned food drive 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily through November 24 at the flagpole in front of Dallas Hall on the SMU campus. More information is available from Chantala Smith at cbsmith@smu.edu.
