Put Your Dukes Up

Season's Greetings roughs up Xmas

The first time I read "Boxing Day" on a calendar, I couldn't wait to box the SHIT out of my asshole brother. Of course, when I asked Mom where we kept the gloves I was rather disappointed. But apparently it's a real holiday in England, as characters have a Boxing Day tea amidst inept puppetry, gunfire and other family hijinks in Sir Alan Ayckbourn's Season's Greetings, performed at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, 8 p.m. Friday, 8 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday at Theatre Too (the small play space downstairs of Theatre Three), 2800 Routh Street, Suite 168. Tickets are $25 to $30 with discounts for students, seniors and season ticket subscribers. Call 214-871-3300 or visit theatre3dallas.com for more information.
Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2:30 p.m.; Thu., Dec. 11, 7:30 p.m. Starts: Dec. 5. Continues through Dec. 14, 2008
