Um, brides-to-be? May I please have your attention? Donnie Brown from Whose Wedding Is It Anyway? and Married Away is going to be at the Dallas Bridal Show this weekend. You heard me. Donnie effing Brown. The guy who can keep you and your guy from ripping each others' throats out. Hell, he could even have you giggly on the big day. In addition to the slews of vendors (invites, samples, candles, flowers, etc.) the Dallas Bridal Show provides, this year they give you "The Man" of the wedding hour, the Style Network and, apparently, wedding planning-themed stand-up. Huh? Brown will throw down his expertise along with funnies of wedding day disasters and how to deal ("The Importance and Value in Hiring a Wedding Planner," at noon both days). Jokes aside, the DBS is big stuff when it comes to planning and saving dough (so you can spend it rightfully on the good stuff people won't buy off your registry), and if you're getting hitched anytime soon, you should prolly show up--notebook, bridal party and expandable budget in tow. Practice your most polite elbow shoves and head to the Dallas Market Hall, Stemmons at Market Center Boulevard, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Admission is $10 per adult. Visit myspace.com/dallasbridalshow.
