There's a sure-fire way to check if someone's worth their salt—check out their Wikipedia page. Take, for instance, Neil Sperry. With the upcoming All Texas Garden Show With Neil Sperry happening this weekend, you have to wonder just what kind of horticulture god gets to be included in the official event title. It turns out he is the go-to guy for anything to do with gardening in Texas (this includes thinking of gardens and, possibly, pointing at gardens). If you check out his wiki, you'll see that the award-winning, oft-published Sperry--host of the Texas Gardening radio show--is as good as it gets. So, if your lawn, flowerbed or window box is in desperate need of a little TLC, ol' Neil and his massive show are coming to the rescue. With a Garden and Décor Marketplace as well as assorted exhibits all weekend long, the All Texas Garden Show With Neil Sperry is the place to be, whether you want classic greenery, a waterfall or general tips of the trade. Now's your chance to learn from the best from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way. Admission is $8.50 for adults; children 14 and under are free. Call 800-654-1480 or visit texashomeandgarden.com.
