Every year all different kinds of charities and organizations put on 5Ks, fun runs and marathons to raise money for those in need. This year The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has decided to mix it up a little and make things a bit interesting with its 1st Annual Big D Climb. No worries, you aren't climbing huge, jagged mountains...just 55 flights of stairs. The climbers will raise money through sponsorships and personal fund-raising. The climbing commences on Saturday at Fountain Place, 1445 Ross Ave. in Dallas. For more information, please contact The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at 972-354-8310.
