Attention all ambitious joggers of the Katy Trail--it's your time to shine, and not just with the perspiration you encounter when blazing the three-plus-mile course during your workout routines. This is the time to shine with a new gleam of Victory--the kind you can only find at the First Annual Rock to Victory Half Marathon. The crowd that brings you the White Rock Marathon organized the event in response to popular demand. Starting outside the American Airlines Center, participants will trek through the streets of Downtown Dallas, down McKinney Avenue, over Central Expressway and along Turtle Creek and Greenville Avenue before looping back on the Katy Trail all the way to the finish line at Victory Park. The race begins at 8 a.m. Sunday. Call 972-839-DWRM or visit rocktovictory.com for more info.
