It's hard out there for a drone. Can't make honey, can't hibernate, got big eyes. Not to mention you're only good for one thing and it kills you. Luckily, that usually only applies to bees and characters in awesomely sleazy movies. Dallas Cinemania is screening the 1973 sci-fi flick Invasion of the Bee Girls, about beautiful women who are transformed into bee-like killers that run around sexing unsuspecting men to death. Catch a glimpse of the stinger flick at the Angelika Film Center (5321 E. Mockingbird Lane) 8 p.m. Thursday. Tickets are $10 at the door. Come early to see DJ Wild In the Streets (Queen of the turntables for those not familiar) put her spin on some rare party jams. For more information visit dallascinemania.com.
