Who doesn't love raising some money for charity? Having lost a relative to HIV/AIDS, it, in particular, has always been an important cause to me. Being a fashion fanatic (due to the economy, this fanaticism is exhibited internally) as well, DIFFA (Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS) is right up my alley. And DIFFA/Dallas is the largest and most successful of the nation's DIFFA chapters (well done, Big D!). DIFFA/Dallas will celebrate the 20th anniversary of its legendary Jacket Collection show and auction in May, but from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday--for just a $20 suggested donation--it's giving the public a sneak peek at jackets by St. John, Tadashi, Geoffrey Henning and other stellar designers. Guests can also enjoy nibbles by Wolfgang Puck and cocktails by Utopia. Union Station is located at 400 S. Houston St. For info, call 214-748-8580 or visit diffadallas.org.
