The Jazz might be a teeny bit ahead of the Mavericks statistically, but that doesn't make the boys from Big D an underdog in their upcoming matchup. We've got tons of stuff working in our favor: Dirk, Dallas fans, the color blue, Cuban, that Jim Carrey guy--Do they really look that much alike? I'm not convinced. Those are some pretty solid positives for the home team. Sure, the Mavericks have let us down before. And yes, it usually happens when we want them to step it up the most. Keep your foam fingers crossed that the boys won't buckle under pre-playoff pressure this year. If their dedicated fans and the thought of a championship aren't motivation enough, maybe their Maverick livelihoods are. Don't make Mark Cuban get all crazy up in this mug! Side note: Did you know that the Jazz's guard, Deron Williams, graduated from The Colony High School? Come support the Mavericks 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the American Airlines Center.
