Sometimes I think Texas is too big, and I feel bad for those unfortunate smaller states that are the size of our largest city. I mean, we do have at least four major theme parks, numerous beaches and four of the Big 12 schools. Then I realize that it's just crazy to feel bad, because to most people, bigger does mean better. Two of our many sports teams, the Dallas Mavericks and Houston Rockets, will square off against each other tonight for some bragging rights and a chance to advance in the Western Conference standings with the playoffs looming. The two last tangled in February, with the Rockets coming out on top at 93-86. We'll see who wins this round of the rivalry 7 p.m. Wednesday at the American Airlines Center (2500 Victory Ave.).
