Akubra. Balmoral Bonnet. Casquette. Fascinator. Kolpik. Porkpie. Ushanka. You're probably wondering what all these weird words I'm throwing at you are, and no, they're not different kinds of desserts from around the world. They all happen to be different styles of hats you may end up seeing if you attend the 21st Annual Mad Hatter's Tea Party. This year's theme will be Under the Cherry Blossoms and will feature a Champagne reception, fashion show and silent auction. The auction will help to raise money to support A Woman's Garden endowment fund. Make sure to be creative with what you put on your head, because there will be a hat judging also. Madhatters are welcomed at 11 a.m. this Wednesday at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden. For more information and ticket prices, contact madhatters2009@yahoo.com or visit WomensCouncilDallasArboretum.org.
