We know what you're thinking, right-wing worrywarts, but it's cool. Frog and Toad are just really good friends. Your marriage is safe, and no one is "indoctrinating" your children. Well, maybe Casa Manana Children's Playhouse is trying to teach them a thing or two about the joys of best-friendship with its performance A Year With Frog & Toad, a musical adaptation of Arnold Lobel children's books about the wholesome and platonic bond between cheerful Frog and grumpy Toad. But that's a good thing. See for yourself at Casa Manana Theatre, 3101 W. Lancaster Ave. in Fort Worth. The show runs weekends until May 17, with performances at 7 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. matinees Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets are $15 to $17. Call 817-332-2272 or visit casamanana.org.
Fridays, Saturdays, 7 p.m.; Saturdays, Sundays, 2 p.m. Starts: May 1. Continues through May 17, 2009
