OK, maybe you really did catch the bacon explosion before it blew up. You were there when Will Ferrell got into it with his little-girl landlord, and thanks to you, all your friends knew about the Buffalax music videos before anybody else. Maybe you're a real viral video curator, but you've met your match in Nick Prueher and Joe Pickett. You like staying up all night clicking through webcam lip-synchs to "I Want It That Way"? These guys once took a fast food job just to get their hands on a legendarily awful employee training tape. For five years, they've been touring the country, dusting off old sexual harassment education videos (you know, before they lost their edge), ill-conceived self-promotion efforts and other thrift-store VHS gold. Prueher and Pickett's comedy résumés include The Late Show, The Colbert Report and Mystery Science Theater 3000, and in this live show they riff on videos with skits and running commentary. In a world with eight different remixes of The Cosby Show credits with "Tunak Tunak Tun," it’s worth revisiting a time when YouTube was but a glimmer in a sweaty, foul-mouthed Winnebago salesman's eye.
