Why not toast your brewski to the firefighters who always have your back? They put their lives on the line to combat everything from your common kitchen-related fires (What? Microwaves are a problem waiting to happen.) to acre-engulfing wildfires. So here's a "Cheers!" for them and for Firefest 2009 at The Ginger Man Sunday. Live music starts at 2 p.m., with the Killdares at 4 p.m. Firefest 2009 proceeds will go directly to the Dallas Firefighter's Museum. The Ginger Man Pub is located at 2718 Boll St. and festivities run through 7 p.m. Call 214-754-8771 for more information.
