Summertime in Texas can turn us all into a bunch of drinkers. With the heat index rising everyday, we'd live on a diet of anything, as long as it had "ice cold" in its name. But instead of sitting around the pool with cans of Lone Star until we're beet red (not that there's anything wrong with that save the skin damage), why not learn how to make some drinks that won't inebriate or dehydrate us? The kings of kitchenry are offering up a summer drinks class with cool recipes that will be great for the whole family to enjoy (or as a mid-binge chaser). Wake up bright and early Saturday and head to the Williams-Sonoma at Northpark Center at 9 a.m. for a crash course in all things cool. Space is limited for the class, so call 214-378-6216 to sign up or visit williams-sonoma.com.
