Some folks are all about the rare find that can elevate status and, well, just make them seem awesome to others. So Jacqueline Cambata's latest line of porcelain--exclusive to The Crow Collection of Asian Art's Lotus Shop--should be right up their collective alleys. Except that Cambata's porcelain is actually a wonderful and beneficent thing to own--she uses a portion of sales to microfinance the efforts of village women in poverty-stricken countries. Celebrate the arrival of Cambata's porcelain with the artist at a wine reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lotus Shop in The Crow, 2010 Flora St. RSVP to 214-979-6436.
