Let's start out by acknowledging that ParaNormalRomance.org (the official homepage for the ParaNormalRomance Groups--for real), called Mary Janice Davidson's first effort in the Vampire Queen Betsy Taylor series, Undead and Unwed, "a hilarious book," while author Christine Feehan dubbed it "erotically passionate." Hoo wee! Move over, Stephenie Meyer, because it looks like Davidson's still on target with Book 8, Undead and Unwelcome. Betsy's handling werewolf issues, half-sister woes and, of course, the matters of suburban housewifery. I bet Betsy could kick Bella's ass...but I'm no expert. You could ask Davidson yourself as she signs and discusses her latest 7 p.m. Wednesday at Borders, Lovers Lane at Greenville Avenue. Call 214-739-1166.
