If your dad is one of those cook-in-his-soul-kitchen types--rhapsodizing about upright chicken roasting (the chicken looks as if it's about to hop off its roasting seat and do "Puttin' on the Ritz," Young Frankenstein-style)--or if he's an avid fan of Wolfgang Puck and Iron Chef, then Williams-Sonoma's Tool Time for Dad cooking class is the place to be this weekend. During this free class, Dad can sample snacks, try out new gadgetry (the joy of dads across the world) and learn some new cooking techniques to boot (maybe you'll reap some gastronomic benefits too). Williams-Sonoma is located at 327 NorthPark Center. The event begins at 11 a.m. Call 214-378-6216 to sign up. Class space is limited.
