The tribute band's goal is to bring the full concert experience of a "famous" touring group to a more intimate setting. If you've ever wondered what it would be like to see Ozzy Osbourne do a full effects-laden concert in a small nightclub, you are in luck. Dallas' own Blizzard of Ozz has been trucking away on the tribute band circuit since 2005, and they really have their act down. All the smoke, lights and stage antics are there, complete with a singer who bears a creepy resemblance to latter-day Ozzy, complete with long, center-parted hair and round sunglasses. These dudes are 100 percent serious about their duty to represent Ozzy's legacy, and from what I can tell, they do not disappoint. Opening act is the hilariously named Alcoholica, a tribute to Metallica. Check them out 8 p.m. Thursday at The House of Blues' Cambridge Room. Tell them Randy Rhoads' ghost sent you.
