A Li'l Live Learning

I'm not afraid to admit that I'm sometimes a slow learner. A very slow learner even. (Spoiler alert: I still can't do fractions.) But my personal issues with math problems aside, let me tell you: I sure as hell know what a conjunction is. And the only reason for that is because I watched a little show called Schoolhouse Rock! These youngsters today may have Yo Gabba Gabba, but they really don't know what they're missing. So, if you have a couple of kids, take them to a live version of the classic TV series, aptly titled, Schoolhouse Rock, Live! Kids from the Summer Youth Theatre Camp at the Richardson Theatre Centre, 2701 Custer Parkway, will be strutting their stuff in the show. Showtimes are 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Tickets are $5. For tickets or more information, call 972-699-1130.
Aug. 14-15, 7 p.m.; Aug. 15-16, 2 p.m., 2009
