If you've ever been to Lee Harvey's, 1807 Gould St., you've probably met Bacon, the bar cat. I just hope he ain't around come Sunday 'cause it's Dog Day from 6 to 8 p.m., which means the place will be crawling with canine companions. The Humane Society of Dallas County is hosting the event to raise money for Dog & Kitty City, the only no-kill shelter in Dallas. Adoptable pups will be on hand, but visitors are encouraged to bring their own dogs too. And don't forget to bring some cash, as "doggie bags" of canine treats and T-shirts will be for sale. A few lucky dawgs will even win trophies for being the friendliest, most talented or best dressed. For more information, call 214-350-7387 or visit dognkittycity.org.
