We Spy A Chevy

Does anybody remember when Chevy Chase was funny? At one point he was actually one of the funniest people in the entire universe. I'm serious. After he left Saturday Night Live in 1976, he made some very funny movies. His best role, however, was a few years later in Caddyshack, arguably the funniest movie ever made. He continued to be funny through the '80s. The first couple of Vacation movies were still funny, and Fletch was awesome. He was definitely still funny in 1985's Spies Like Us, along with fellow SNL alumni, Dan Aykroyd. This is a totally '80s look at the Cold War and how two bumbling would-be spies accidentally save the world. Check out the very funny Chevy Chase in Spies Like Us Wednesday at sundown at the Belmont Hotel, 901 Fort Worth Ave. in Oak Cliff. Visit belmontdallas.com for information.
