It's quite possible that artist Eddy Rawlinson cribbed the title of his newest exhibit, Hell Bound Road, from an unfinished Mad Max sequel script. But that doesn't make it sound any less awesome does it? According to the press release, Rawlinson's prints and paintings "explore the various layers of political/pop-culture images of the hero/anti hero in the mainstream and alternative media with its connection to cultural behavior and language," whatever that means. At least it's got a cool title. Hell Bound Road hangs from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays through November 20 at the Brazos Gallery at Richland College. Visit www.rlc8.dcccd.edu/gallery for more info.
Mondays-Fridays. Starts: Oct. 9. Continues through Nov. 20, 2009
