Once my She-Ra doll got so thoroughly eaten by my T-Rex that she got jammed in his purples plastic stomach with just her tan plastic legs poking from his mouth; he was a messy eater. Needless to say I was one of those kids who loved dinosaurs. I was terrified of the blood and guts, but the creatures fascinated me. When Jurassic Park came out, I saw it three times in the theater and kept thinking that Disney was really missing out on this whole dinosaur thing. Some people across the pond watched the movie and thought the same thing. They created the BBC television show Walking With Dinosaurs and now they've kicked it up a notch by bringing the dinosaurs to pretty realistic looking life in a live action show. And now they've come to Dallas. Seventeen dinosaurs (actually huge complicated puppets) will be in the American Airlines Center giving the audience a glimpse of the Triassic, Jurassic and Cretaceous periods. The dinosaurs will meet, fight and fall in love (or not) right up until the game-ending asteroid hits and you'll have a ringside seat for it all. Hear the roars and watch it all go down 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday; 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. Saturday; and 1 and 5 p.m. Sunday at American Airlines Center, 2500 Victory Ave. Tickets are $30 to $60.
