Lions and tigers and...dinosaurs? Oh my! Just forget about the bears. This Halloween it's all about the dinosaurs. Whoever said these animals were out of date must be crazy because during Halloween at the Heard your kids can enjoy munching on delectable candy corn with nine life-sized animatronic dinosaurs. This family-friendly event will also include a showing of Monster House and a costume contest for kids 12 and under. Food and refreshments from Peter Piper Pizza and Del's Frozen Lemonade will also be available for purchase. The event takes place on Saturday from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Heard Natural Science Museum and Wildlife Sanctuary, 1 Nature Place.
