Feeling Bookish

Every year a shiver of anticipation ran through my elementary school as teachers got mysterious packages and a certain classroom at the end of the hall was closed off, the window in the door covered with red construction paper. This had nothing to do with Santa or Halloween candy, but it was almost as good--because the book fair had arrived. Well, now that I'm all grownup-ish, the world has gotten wider, so I can't wait to take a gander at Dallas' 4th Annual International Book Fair. There'll be face painting, dancing and authors from all over will be there giving readings, discussing their works and selling their books. The Dallas Public Library is located at 1515 Young St. Call 214-670-1400 or go to dallasinternationalbookfair.com for more information.
