Take a matchbook, a few beads, a bottle of nail polish and a case of eye shadow--put it together and what do you get? Art. Out of My Mind is an exhibition created by Ellen Frances Tuchman repeating patterns of line and color, creating a visual labyrinth. The exhibition explores beauty versus tragedy, big ideas versus minute detail and craft versus art. Out of My Mind will be one of the last exhibitions held at Pan American Art Projects Dallas. After almost seven years as one of Dallas' premier art galleries, Pan American will close its doors in December. Out of My Mind will be on view through November 25, Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The gallery is located at 1615 Dragon St. For more information, call 214-522-3303 or go to panamericanart.com.
