If He Whispers, They Will Learn

How can you not love a guy who says he wants to make the world a better place one dog at a time? That's how Cesar Millan rolls. If you've never seen his NatGeo show, The Dog Whisperer, program your DVR stat. It's fascinating to watch Millan take aggressive and antisocial dogs and rehabilitate them into well-adjusted animals. Millan also simultaneously retrains people to become calm, assertive owners. As my dad says, dogs are a lot like kids: "If you give them an inch, they'll take a mile." Millan has been criticized for his methods, but that hasn't put a damper on his profits (in the millions) or popularity. Celebrities have called on Millan for help with their wayward dogs--he helped Transformers director Michael Bay with his mastiff Bonecrusher (what, no Bumblebee?). Besides, you know you've really made it when you show up on an episode of South Park. Rumor has it Millan charges six figures for a private training session, but it'd be a lot cheaper to watch him work his canine magic Sunday at Nokia Theatre in Grand Prairie. Tickets for Millan's PackPower Tour range from $39.50 to $150 and are available through ticketmaster.com.
