Put on your chicest island attire, learn a few beach dance moves and help SPCA, North Texas' leading animal welfare agency, keep operating. It's the Fur Ball Gala at the Hilton Anatole. For every animal taken into custody--and there are thousands--SPCA spends an average of $320. Last year's Fur Ball raised $250,000 toward the society's multimillion-dollar budget. To raise even more this year, guests to this year's event--Paws of Paradise--can bid on golf outings, NorthPark Center shopping, fine wines, spa and weekend escapes, and more at the live auction while enjoying music by DJ Lucy Wrubel. Individual seats are $150 each and may be purchased online. For more information, visit spca.org or call 214-461-1830.
