I need you to do something for me. First, if you're sitting down, stand up. Now throw your arms up and yell, "The Beaujolais is here!" On the third Thursday of every November, French wineries release the latest incarnation of Beaujolais Noveau wine around the world. Back in the good ol' days, French bistros would post signs declaring, "Le Beaujolais est arrivé!" Of course, you don't have to be French to get all twitterpated about wine. The French-American Chamber of Commerce welcomes everyone to the Beaujolais Wine Festival Friday night at the InterContinental Dallas in Addison. Enjoy gourmet food, a silent auction and a chance to meet Miss Texas. Maybe she'll let you buy her a drink. Tickets are $55 per person, and groups of 4 or more are $50 each.
