The work of two young local artists, Timothy Harding and Jennifer Jones, will explore deconstructivist ideas relating to architecture as well as personal reflection at The mod.shop Gallery on Alpha Road. Harding's deconstructive projects interact with the contrast of constructed environments they occupy while Jones' pick apart the emotions and reactions she faced after her father's death. Both artists explore pencil drawing on white backgrounds that seem to expand the gallery's space and simultaneously showcase the drawings' subtle serenity. This summer, D magazine selected Jones as part of the New Dallas 9, a group of artists who believe in the universal voice of local art. The exhibition is open until December 11. Tuesdays-Saturdays, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Starts: Nov. 27. Continues through Dec. 11, 2009
