Don't lie to yourself. You know you aren't paying attention to the tree or the presents. Yes, they are exciting, but they aren't what you're really craving. The holidays are all about the sweet stuff. Smell the aroma. The pumpkin pie, the chocolate souffle and the cheesecake are all baking in the oven, but they aren't what you're looking for either. One of the holidays' most sought-after treats is the cookie. That's right, the classic cookie--and now you can learn to make some of the best recipes at home in your kitchen. Move on over, pumpkin pie, because at the Cookie Exchange, bakers will be able to whip up some of the best cookies on the face of this earth. Recipes made during the class include pecan pumpkin harvest, chewy coconut orange macaroons, gingerbread people, lemon squares and much more. The class takes place at 6:30 p.m. Monday and 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Central Market Dallas Cooking School, 5750 E. Lovers Lane. Seats in the class are $60.
