You make resolutions every year, but sometimes you just need a little bit of help when it comes to keeping them. If one of your New Year's resolutions is to spend more quality time with the fam, then the Lone Star Circus has just what you need to kick off 2010. For a very limited time, Lone Star Circus presents Cirque Banquista! a fantastical show for the whole family to enjoy together. In addition to having a bit of local flavor, the international circus features acts from Mexico, Canada, France and Russia--a line-up that will delight even the most mulish member of your household. Among the evening's performers will be acrobats, jugglers, clowns, aerialists, house cats (yes, someone has figured out how to train those little hellions), and Dallas' own Slappy and Monday from Slappy's Puppet Playhouse. Take the whole family for an evening of entertainment at 5:30 p.m. Friday, with additional performances Saturday and Sunday, at the Rosewood Center for Family Arts, 5938 Skillman St. Tickets are $19 to $44.
