Love old movies? Do you really love a good black-and-white? Better yet, make it one with a detective tracking his way through a crazy murder mystery--yeah, we hear you loud and clear. Now, get out from in front of Turner Classic Movies for a night and check out one of those black-and-whites you love so much...live. You read that right. Live. Pegasus Theatre, and its artistic director Kurt Kleinmann, have perfected the art of Living Black & WhiteTM, which means the lighting, costuming, set and, well, everything is specially designed to look like a 1930s detective film right onstage. Pegasus is ringing in the New Year at the Eisemann Center, 2341 Performance Drive in Richardson, with Death Express! or, rather, another case for the company's beloved and bumbling private dick, Harry Hunsacker. Whodunnit? Dunno, but they sure look good in black and white. Showtimes are 8 p.m. Thursdays through Saturdays and 3 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays through January 17. Tickets are $30, $50 on New Year's Eve. Call 972-744-4650 or visit eisemanncenter.com.
