Change Has Already Come

To celebrate the University of Texas-Dallas' 40-year anniversary, the Visual Arts and Humanities Faculty presents an exhibition of works spanning the past four decades, courageously titled Years of Living Dangerously. Sparked from an attitude of continual change, the faculty's exhibit is a little less dangerous-battle-scene and more of a dangerously uncommon perspective. The faculty explores the spaces lurking between media while experimenting with new imaging technology, creating an exhibition that embraces change and diversity. The work is said to acknowledge the present and future while guiding artists' creativity in the new era. Years of Living Dangerously is a free exhibit beginning Friday, January 22, and ending February 20 in the Main Gallery of the Visual Arts Building. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.. For more information, visit utdallas.edu/ah/events.
Mondays-Fridays, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.; Sat., Jan. 23, 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Starts: Jan. 22. Continues through Feb. 20, 2010
