AutoRama Turns The Big 5-0

Normally car shows are highlighted by celebrity appearances and deals, deals, deals! But not this year. No, for the 50th anniversary of the O'Reilly Auto Parts AutoRama, the real draw isn't an autographed 8-by-10, but a chance to glimpse some of the coolest cars from the last five decades--dragsters like Connie Kalitta's 1967 "Bounty Hunter" or Don Prudhomme's "Wynn's Winder." Ol' Skool Rodz will also return with its popular showcase, so vintage car fans are going to...well, go into overdrive. The AutoRama takes place Friday through Sunday at Dallas Market Hall. Admission is $14 ($5 for kids 6 to 12). For event and appearance times and show details, visit autorama.com.
