They say they'll love you no matter what. They're your parents, so you'd think or, at least, hope it's a given. After all, the family that prays together stays together. But what happens when you've been hiding the ultimate secret from them? Nelson is about to find out. In the film Oy Vey! My Son Is Gay, parents Martin and Shirley Hirsch have been continually shoving girls at their son during Friday night Shabbat dinner with the hopes that he might just find "the one." But what they don't realize is that women aren't exactly his cup of tea. In love with a man named Angelo, Nelson must tell his parents that he's gay and hope for the best. The film, starring Lainie Kazan, Saul Rubinek and John Lloyd Young, screens 8 p.m. Saturday at the Rose Marine Theater, 1440 N. Main St. in Fort Worth, as part of a series from Q Cinema, Fort Worth's Gay and Lesbian International Film Festival. Admission also includes a cocktail reception, awards and an after-party with special guests Bruce Vilanch and Evgeny Afineevsky, who directed the film. Tickets are $15 to $35.
