The Insulter
There are some things in life that are just plain funny. Even though they might be directed at one certain person (or an entire gender) and be highly offensive, you cannot help--even if you are included in the group being hated on--but laugh. I think that entire idea sums up comedian Jon Lajoie. I will never forget being introduced to "Show Me Your Genitals" on YouTube, and by a guy I thought was so wonderful, no less. Regardless of how dreadful that might have turned out for me personally, watching a man in a hideous Hawaiian shirt spit lines like "I can't shove my fist in your childhood dreams, so why're you sharing all this information with me?" is funny. It just is. Lajoie will perform a vast array of insulting material 8 p.m. Friday, 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Saturday, and 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Addison Improv, 4980 Belt Line Road. Tickets are $20.
