Friends May Through December

You can forget Thelma and Louise. And forget Lucy and Ethel while you're at it because the age gap between girlfriends is growing in One Thirty Productions' theatrical presentation of Grace and Glorie. Grace is a 90-year-old woman who has just returned home from her stay at the hospital. She doesn't have a cell phone or even a home phone, for that matter, and her house in the mountains has chickens on the front porch. Glorie is an attractive and successful Harvard graduate. Hailing from New York, she's been assigned to be Grace's new hospice. What happens when two women with nothing in common come together? Probably way more than you could imagine. The production runs through March 27 at the Bath House Cultural Center, 521 E. Lawther. Tickets are $12 to 14. For more information, call 214-532-1709 or visit bathhousecultural.com.
Wednesdays-Saturdays, 1:30 p.m. Starts: March 11. Continues through March 27, 2010
